CELEBRATING CARL H. HAHN’S 100TH BIRTHDAY
From June 30 to July 2, 2026, the cities of Wolfsburg and Chemnitz marked the 100th anniversary of their honorary citizen Carl H. Hahn’s birth with a series of events and special tributes. These included exhibitions, commemorative church services, a VW oldtimer car parade, the naming of the Carl Hahn Bridge in Wolfsburg, the opening of the Carl-Horst-Hahn Garden in Chemnitz, and the unveiling of a public artwork.
OUR MISSION: WE AGAINST POVERTY FOR EDUCATION AND CULTURE
The Carl and Marisa Hahn Foundation is committed to a better society and promotes education, sustainability and social projects. We want to help young people to be open-minded, informed and well educated. At the same time, we also provide financial support to people who have suffered strokes of fate and help them quickly and unbureaucratically. We provide institutions and social facilities with the support they need.

“I am grateful that my path has led me to the sunny side after a busy life.”
Quote from Carl H. Hahn – founder and benefactor
