Commitment in Wolfsburg: Peter Maffay sits on the board of trustees of the Hahn-Foundation
The Carl and Marisa Hahn Foundation is very pleased that Peter Maffay has been elected to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. There he will be able to do a lot of good through his vision and tireless commitment. He is also the new patron of the sponsorship project “My School Goes Green”. Peter Maffay has been socially engaged for many years, actively helping disadvantaged, traumatised children and youth, always in connection with the protection of the environment. His work in his Tabaluga Houses, where children and young people learn to live close to nature and, for example, help with the ecological cultivation of fruit and vegetables, is particularly close to his heart. He is also active as an ambassador for Natura 2000, a Europe-wide network of protected areas that is intended to contribute to the preservation of biodiversity. Peter Maffay has also been closely connected with the city of Wolfsburg for years through his cooperation with the Volkswagen-Belegschaftsstiftung, which in turn supports many of his charitable projects..
