Little Woodland – 100 Roots for the Future

We need you to join the team on ‘Little Woodland – 100 Roots for the Future!

Our aim: 100 children and young people aged up to 16 will plant 100 trees together and help them grow. Whether with your family, your school class or your nursery group – every tree planted makes our little wood a bit bigger.

By taking part, you can:

• plant your own tree and become its sponsor
• see how a small sapling grows into a large tree
• look after and care for your tree over many years
• learn fascinating facts about forests, nature and climate protection
• work together with others to create something lasting for our environment.

The project “Little Woodland – 100 Roots for the Future” (Google Maps) is being launched to mark the 100th birthdays of Carl and Marisa Hahn at the historic Rothehof in the Rabenberg district of Wolfsburg – where the Hahn family lived for many years.

Together with its project partners, NaturErkundungsSTation NEST and the City of Wolfsburg’s Parks and Green Spaces Department, the foundation is creating a permanent learning space. The Little Woodland will remain in place long after the planting day and will continue to invite children, families and school groups to experience the woodland with all their senses in the years to come.
